Privacy policy

Last updated 15 September 2026.

This page says what we collect about you, why, who helps us process it, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do. Short version: we collect what we need to make and deliver your videos and take payment, we do not sell it, and you can have it deleted.

1. Who is responsible

launchtube is the data controller for launchtube.ai. Questions and requests go to [email protected].

2. What we collect

Account and billing. Your email address, your name if you give it, and the references our payment provider Stripe gives us for your customer and subscription. Card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Your channel answers. What your channel is about, who it is for, facts you want used, things we must never say, titles you like or dislike, websites or channels you name, colours, any photos or brand files you upload, and the channel plan we write from them.

YouTube connection (Solar and Orbit, only if you connect a channel). The permission Google gives us to upload videos to your channel and to read basic channel details, and basic performance figures if you allow them.

The chat on this site. What you type into the chat, the pages you were on when you asked, and any name, email or phone number you leave there so a person can reply. You do not need an account to use it.

The launch list. If you ask to be told when checkout opens, your name, email address, country and the plan you were looking at.

Your library activity. Which topics you rejected, which videos you accepted or downloaded, and any support messages you send us.

Technical data. IP address, browser and device details, and the server logs our hosting provider keeps.

3. Why we use it

  • To make and deliver your videos and run our quality checks (to perform our contract with you).
  • To take payment, send receipts and keep accounts (contract and legal obligation).
  • To publish to your YouTube channel when you ask us to (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by disconnecting the channel).
  • To answer your questions in the chat and pass your message to a person when you ask for one (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or our contract with you if you are a customer).
  • To email you when checkout opens, if you joined the launch list (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by asking us to delete your details).
  • To answer support requests and send service emails such as delivery notices and changes to terms (contract).
  • To keep the service secure and stop misuse (our legitimate interests).

We do not send marketing email unless you ask for it, and we do not sell, rent or trade your data.

4. Who helps us

We use trusted providers, each of which receives only what it needs for its job:

  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Supabase, for our database and sign-in.
  • Cloudflare, for hosting, file storage and delivery.
  • Anthropic, whose writing model drafts scripts and channel plans from your answers.
  • OpenAI, whose models write the chat’s answers and index our help pages so the chat can search them.
  • Pinecone, which stores our help pages for the chat to search. It does not store your messages.
  • Our own mail server, which delivers the email that passes a chat message to our team.
  • Our own automation server, which runs the chat and stores conversations with our database provider.
  • ElevenLabs, for synthetic voices.
  • Google, for YouTube publishing when you connect a channel, and for Google Analytics, which counts visits to this site.
  • Licensed image and clip libraries such as Pexels, which receive search terms, not your personal data.

We may also share data when the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

5. Google and YouTube data

If you connect a YouTube channel we ask Google for two permissions only: to upload videos to your channel and to read basic channel details. launchtube.ai’s use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We use that information only to publish your videos and show you how they are doing. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. You can remove our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and we delete the connection 30 days after your subscription ends. Google’s own privacy policy is at google.com/policies/privacy.

6. Where your data goes

Our providers run in the European Union, the United Kingdom and the United States. Where data leaves the EU or UK it is covered by standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

7. How long we keep it

  • Your answers, channel plan, videos and uploads: while your subscription is active and for 30 days after it ends, then deleted.
  • Your YouTube connection: deleted 30 days after your subscription ends, or as soon as you remove it.
  • Billing records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Chat conversations, and any name, email or phone number left in the chat: three months, then deleted automatically.
  • Launch list: until checkout opens and we have told you, and never more than twelve months, then deleted automatically. You can ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Support messages: until the matter is closed and for up to two years afterwards.
  • Server logs: for a short period, for security.

8. Your rights

Under the EU and UK GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to move it, to limit how we use it, or to stop using it for a particular purpose, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email [email protected] and we answer within one month. If you are not happy with how we handle your data you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority in your own country.

9. Cookies

This site sets no advertising cookies. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read; it sets a cookie, your IP address is shortened before it is stored, and we have switched off Google’s advertising and personalisation signals, so nothing here follows you to another site. When you have an account, a sign-in cookie keeps you signed in; the service cannot work without it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google sees your browser’s request for the font files.

10. Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. YouTube connections are stored encrypted. Access is limited to the people and systems that need it to run the service.

11. Children

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes are emailed to you. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
